Dr. Joshua Sinai is Professor of Practice, Intelligence & Global Security Studies, at Capitol Technology University, in Laurel, MD. He has reviewed books for the journal for almost 25 years.
He is a veteran analyst in terrorism and counter-terrorism studies, having worked on these issues in the U.S. government, academia, and the private sector. He also specializes in active shooter prevention, with his book, “Active Shooter – A Handbook on Prevention” published by ASIS International in January 2013, and is being updated and revised for its second edition.
Dr. Sinai has published more than 80 articles and hundreds of book reviews, with many of them published since 2000 in “The Journal of Counterterrorism & Homeland Security International.” He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.
